Kylie Jenner is trading reality TV drama for a very different kind of drama: a dead bride, a group of suspicious friends and a mystery that unravels one secret at a time.
The makeup mogul is set to star in and executive produce Bachelorette Weekend, a thriller series in development at Hulu, according to Deadline. It would be her first big scripted acting job. Her boyfriend, Oscar-nominated actor Timothée Chalamet, might be a handy person to have around right now.
What the Show Is About
The series is derived from an unreleased novel by Flora Collins, with Lauren Oliver writing. The story follows a bachelorette weekend that goes terribly wrong when the bride, played by Kylie, is found dead in a pool. Her closest friends all become suspects, and the plot rewinds through the events that led up to her death.
Yes, her character doesn’t make it. But she is described as the “North Star” of the show, which suggests the whole mystery will orbit around her.
A Family Affair

Kylie won’t be doing this alone. Her sister Kim Kardashian is executive producing too, and she reportedly got the script first and thought it was a perfect fit for Kylie. Kylie also reportedly didn’t have to audition for the part.
It’s a smart setup. The sisters seem to be building their own small studio, one where they can skip the endless self-tapes and the rejection that come with chasing roles.
Kim has already made a similar jump from reality television into scripted work, with her Hulu legal drama All’s Fair and the upcoming Netflix movie The Fifth Wheel.
Kylie’s Road to Acting
Kylie may not have a traditional acting résumé, but cameras are nothing new to her. She grew up on screen with her family’s reality show, Keeping Up With the Kardashians.

Earlier this year, she made her film debut in Charli XCX’s satirical movie The Moment, playing a fictionalized version of herself. In an August interview with Who What Wear, she admitted she was nervous and called Kim for advice, since Kim was working on All’s Fair. Kim’s first reaction was cautious, she said, but after Kylie read her part aloud over the phone, Kim told her she had it.
Kylie also shared that she has already turned down two scripts that didn’t feel right. She is being picky because a major role could mean travel and time away from her children, Stormi and Aire. She told Vanity Fair in March that she enjoys comedy and thinks she’s good at it, and joked that she might be “the lead of an action movie” by their next chat.
Can Timothée Chalamet Help?

Here’s where Hollywood’s most famous plus-one comes in. Kylie Jenner has been dating the Dune star since 2023, and the two have shown up for each other’s projects more and more often. Back in December 2025, he promoted her The Moment debut on Good Morning America, with a playful “double promo” joke. A24 distributed both his film and hers.
There’s no sign that he’s involved in Bachelorette Weekend or acting as her coach. Still, having someone nearby who understands big movie roles can’t hurt.
