It’s Halloween season again! The time of year when creativity, pop culture, and fashion come together to give us some of the most unforgettable looks. From iconic movie characters and music legends to instantly recognizable fictional personalities, celebrities never fail to take Halloween costumes to another level. But with so many creative interpretations of the same person or character, one question remains: Who wore it best?
As certain costumes continue to make their rounds every Halloween, we’re taking a look at some of the most commonly recreated celebrity costumes and the stars who made these iconic looks their own.
Paris Hilton, Adele, and Cardi B Dressed As Morticia Addams

Just this year, Paris Hilton has once again shown the internet how dressing up for halloween is her thing. Serving timeless elegance, Hilton’s take on Morticia proves that the Addams Family matriarch’s signature look never goes out of style. With her sleek black ensemble and unmistakable dark glamour, she gave the iconic character a look that was both classic and effortlessly chic.
Meanwhile, Adele brought Morticia to life in 2023, swapping her usual glamorous stage persona for the character’s dark and mysterious aura. Her transformation offered a refreshing take on the singer’s glamorous image, proving that she could pull off a little gothic drama just as effortlessly.
Cardi B’s 2021 interpretation, on the other hand, brought a bolder and more daring energy to the character. Flaunting her curves in a figure-hugging black ensemble, she put her own spin on Morticia’s signature sensuality without losing the gothic vibe that makes the character so recognizable. Safe to say, the Addams family matriarch has never looked this fierce!
Paris Hilton, Sabrina Carpenter, and Holly Madison as Tinker Bell

Paris Hilton has played Tinker Bell more than once, but her 2025 Halloween look was certainly a fan favorite. She went all out to bring the beloved fairy to life, from the signature green dress and delicate wings to the finishing touches that made the costume instantly recognizable.
When we think of Tinker Bell, we picture a petite, cute-looking fairy, perhaps 5 feet tall with multiple chart-topping hits… Oh! I just mistook the character for Sabrina Carpenter herself! In 2024, Carpenter gave fans a fairy-sized surprise, stepping out in a sparkling green outfit complete with wings and playful details during her Short n’ Sweet Tour stop in Dallas, Texas.
And long before these looks, Holly Madison had already brought the fairy to life in 2010. She was spotted in a Tinker Bell costume at the Fright Dome Haunted House at Circus Circus Casino in Las Vegas, adding her own touch of fairy-tale charm to the Halloween attraction.
Cardi B, Latto, and Heidi Klum Dressed As Jessica Rabbit

Jessica Rabbit may be a cartoon character, but her signature red dress, fiery hair, and undeniable curves are anything but easy to pull off. Cardi B, however, made it look effortless in 2024. She stepped out in a figure-hugging red gown, purple gloves, and Jessica’s iconic red hair at the Hennessy & T Styles Halloween Party in New York City, giving the animated bombshell a bold, Cardi-style makeover.
Sharing the spotlight that same night was Latto, who also arrived as Jessica Rabbit at the Halloween celebration. With the character’s signature red hair and glamorous silhouette, Latto embraced the look and added another Jessica Rabbit moment to an already memorable Halloween night.
But long before the two rappers took on the character, Heidi Klum had already made her own unforgettable transformation. In 2015, the Queen of Halloween went beyond the usual costume staples, using elaborate prosthetics and detailed makeup to recreate Jessica Rabbit’s exaggerated animated features for her annual Halloween party in New York City. Now that is commitment to a Halloween costume!
Giselle of aespa, Nicki Minaj, and Lauren Jauregui Dressed As Harley Quinn

Giselle of aespa practically broke the K-pop internet when she showed up as Harley Quinn for SM Entertainment’s SMTOWN Wonderland Halloween celebration in 2021. Fans couldn’t get enough of her transformation into the mischievous DC antihero, especially with her personal take on Harley’s signature red-and-blue look. Her appearance quickly became a fan favorite, proving that even Gotham’s most chaotic villainess can steal the spotlight in South Korea.
Nicki Minaj, meanwhile, gave Harley Quinn a more daring and unapologetically bold makeover in 2019. Sporting the character’s iconic Suicide Squad-inspired outfit and blonde pigtails with colorful tips, Minaj brought her own fierce, playful, and impossible to ignore personality to the look.
Lauren Jauregui also embraced her inner Harley Quinn in 2018, showing up at Halsey’s Halloween party in Los Angeles in a look that captured the character’s rebellious punk-rock energy. With the recognizable red-and-blue styling and Harley’s signature mischievous attitude, Jauregui gave the character her own edgy interpretation.
Erling Haaland, Sungchan of RIIZE, and Lewis Hamilton Dressed As Joker

The Joker has had plenty of interpretations over the years, but there’s something about his sinister grin, smeared makeup, and unmistakable green hair that makes him a Halloween classic. Erling Haaland took on the infamous DC villain in 2025, trading his football kit for white face paint, dark eyes, green hair, and the character’s signature menacing smile. The football star even brought the look into a Halloween prank in Manchester, showing that his sense of humor extends well beyond the pitch.
Sungchan, who was still part of NCT before eventually joining RIIZE, also put his own spin on the Joker in 2021. He showed off the look at SM Entertainment’s annual SMTOWN Wonderland Halloween celebration, where he transformed into Batman’s notorious nemesis. Fun fact: he attended the very same event as aespa’s Giselle, who dressed as Harley Quinn that year. With this, fans were quick to hope for a photo of the two together, given their perfectly matched Gotham-inspired costumes, but sadly, no such picture ever came out.
And long before these two, Lewis Hamilton brought the Joker to one of Hollywood’s biggest Halloween celebrations in 2016. Attending Heidi Klum’s annual Halloween party in New York City, the Formula One champion went for the villain’s unmistakable look, complete with the eerie makeup and sinister styling. Even off the racetrack, Hamilton certainly knew how to make an entrance!
From iconic villains to beloved fairytale characters, these celebrities have shown that Halloween is more than just dressing up, it is about bringing our favorite characters to life and adding their little personal flair along the way. So, who wore it best? Honestly, with each celebrity bringing something different to the table, we will leave that up to you. After all, when it comes to these Halloween looks, everyone deserves a spot on the best-dressed list!
