Sports journalist and Fox analyst Dean Blandino recently shared a glimpse into the wedding while discussing his experience on the podcast Arrowhead Allies. According to Blandino, football was one of the biggest topics among the celebrity guests.
Swift and Kelce reportedly married during a private ceremony at Madison Square Garden on July 3. While the couple has kept many details of the celebration private, occasional comments from attendees have offered a look at what the night was like.
Dean Blandino Recalls the Star-Studded Wedding
During his September 28 appearance on Arrowhead Allies, Blandino reflected on being surrounded by celebrities at the wedding.
He described the gathering as an unusual experience, noting that there were plenty of recognizable names in attendance.
“There were some surreal moments,” Blandino said while recalling the evening. However, what stood out most to him was the interest many of the celebrity guests had in football. Blandino explained that several A-list attendees appeared genuinely eager to discuss the sport.
The observation is particularly fitting given Kelce’s career as an NFL tight end and his longtime connection to football.
Football Became an Unexpected Wedding Conversation
Celebrity weddings often bring together people from different industries, and Swift and Kelce’s guest list reportedly reflected both sides of their careers and social circles.
According to Blandino, though, football managed to become a common subject among many of the guests.
His comments offer another glimpse into how Kelce’s professional world was represented at the celebration, even as the event itself focused on his marriage to Swift.

Swift and Kelce reportedly transformed Madison Square Garden for the celebration, with the venue described as having a garden-inspired setting.
Reports have also claimed that around 1,000 guests attended the event. Guests were reportedly welcomed through a curtain-covered entrance decorated with photographs from Swift and Kelce’s lives.
Swift was said to have worn a custom Dior wedding dress. Reports about the ceremony have also claimed that she walked down the aisle to her song “Love Story.”
Adam Sandler was reportedly involved in the ceremony as the officiant, while Swift and Kelce were said to have exchanged lengthy personal vows.
Much of the wedding has remained private, however, and neither Swift nor Kelce has publicly confirmed every detail that has circulated in reports.
Travis Kelce Shares His Reaction to the Wedding
Kelce has since offered a few public comments about the celebration. Speaking about the wedding, he described it as the best night of his life and thanked the people who attended and celebrated with the couple.
He has also discussed aspects of the wedding on his podcast, New Heights, giving listeners occasional insight into the highly private celebration.
Swift has made fewer direct comments about the event. She has, however, reportedly referenced the wedding in her song “Cleveland!” with lyrics that allude to wearing white.
