MUZAFFARABAD/GILGIT/BAJAUR: Intense rains led to deadly flash floods and landslides around Gilgit-Baltistan, parts of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK), and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Bajaur district on Friday, leaving at least 26 people dead.
In Bajaur, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 9 people lost their lives and 4 were injured due to harsh flooding and landslides in the Jabbarai and Salarzai regions.

Following orders from KP Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur, the Deputy Commissioner of Bajaur and other district officials arrived in the affected areas to monitor the response efforts.
